hye guys i don't really know where else to post this but i have a "semi-built" motor and i was looking into getting extra ponies now my buddy was running a 125 shot on his tl no prob with a tune and fuel pump and injectors. i have all of that already because of my current set up i was just wondering with a proper tune my car should be alright, correct? i want to hear what you guys have to say and if any of you guys have ever ran nitrous please chime in

You can definetly do it if you take the necessary safety precautions. It would not be safe to run that much of a shot on the stock timing though, so an EMS would be a must to tune it right. I see you already have a fuel pump and upgraded injectors, but I would also invest in a wideband and a window switch.

A window switch allows you to choose which RPM or what gear you want to activate the nitrous in. This is great for people that don't want to have the nitrous activated during a launch, then once they get going they can actually have the nitrous activated during certain RPM's. Pretty neat little things.

ok im new to the nitrous game this seems perfect which one of those would be best? i think i have seen a couple of you vids your shit rolls if thats you lol

Haha not me, I actually don't even have nitrous on my S, and never have. I had a 75 shot on my old 300zx, and have read a lot on nitrous on the S but havent got the balls to pull the trigger yet.

Haha yeah I may look into doing just a 50 shot since I wouldnt have to get a tune with that. I just need to get my clutch done first and might do an ap2 tranny while i'm at it, so no funds for it yet.
