Default 12-Year Anniversary

As of today (11/22/2011), I have had my S2000 for 12 years.

It currently has slightly over 111,500 miles.

Here is my maintenance log: http://rci.rutgers.edu/~mocker/s2000...e_expenses.htm

Yes, I did pay $1500 over MSRP to get this car in 1999. I also take my S2000 to a Honda dealer for all maintenance. I simply do not have the time, skill or overwhelming interest to work on this car myself.

I do, however, prepare my own taxes and mow my own lawn.

Wow very cool, congrats on long term ownership!

Good to see you didnt spend an incredible amount on maintenance. $5591 in maintenance over 12 years is not bad

That's awesome.. Congrats!!!

I had my '01 back in '01... (but I'm currently on s2000 #3).

Hope we hear back in 12 years that you are still driving the car and still enjoying it!!

Congrats on 12 years of ownership! I have owned 9 cars (even more if you add in my wife's cars) and 3 bikes in the amount of time you have owned your s2k! I'm a car fanatic who is always looking to experience a new car, but I tell myself I will keep my s2k for a long time. Hopefully I'll report back in 12 years that I still have my s2k. Are there any issues with your s2k after 12 years (oil consumption, grinding gears, interior or exterior parts cracking or coming off, etc) ?

No other fluids changed? Brake, anti-freeze, diff, trans? What about brake pads? Clutch?

Sorry for all the questions, they just aren't listed on the document other than doing mileage specific maintenance.

Except for tires, windshield and battery, my S2000 is stock.
