11k for a 01?
Hey guys. I'm so excited to get this car tomorrow but want to ask you pro's. Is this car for 11k worth it? Herr are the specs
2001
Clean tittle
1st owner
88,xxx miles
Aem v2 intake
Glass rag top
OEM front lip
Here are some pics
Anything I should look out for in this year? Or with the miles?

Looms pretty clean to me. He upgrad the top with the glass window. 01s came with plastic rear windows so glass is definitely a plus. The early models did have some issues that you should look into like bad banjo bolts and clutch buzz but those arent really a problem unless the car is abused or driven hard. Most would recommend getting a leak down compression test to make sure ieacg cyliner is running well. The car looks very nice to me, the interior seems to be in good shape considering the age of the car. I say go for it the price seems on par with the car

compression check for sure... or you're crazy...
if it was previously turbo'd or supercharged, don't buy it...
salvage title for theft... yeah maybe...
salvage title for frame damage... no bueno...
what wheels are those???... and what tires???... if they're junk then the owner didn't have a clue...
i'm sure there's lots more but definitely compression check...

S2000's should really hold their value up around $10k range the lowest. Just my opinion. This is based on my selling a 1986 Z with 183000 miles for $5200. A S2000 should always be a few thousand more if it runs and is not completely trashed.

Seems reasonable. Not a "steal" but not a bad deal either. Looks clean. Being that it's the original owner, if the rest of the car seems to be in as great of condition as it looks, I really wouldn't worry too much about a compression check, but it certainly wouldn't take much time or hurt to do either. Any "performance" mods, even like an intake, make me a little skeptical of its treatment, but it seems to be an owner that actually cared about it and may have just wanted some more noise under the hood?
