10,000K service due - anything I should ask?
My 10K service is due next week and I was wondering if there was anything I should have the dealer check while the car's at the shop? Everything seems just fine but may as well take advantage of the opportunity while it's there.
Only 10,000K (6213.999999999999 miles) in the first year ... gotta drive more .. it's only just broken in really

check the faq section for the service guides - at 7k miles, its only an oil change and tire pressure check. I think you'd be better off doing these two items yourself instead of paying the hefty dealer price and any other risks that you place your car under in taking it to a dealer.

You should check for anything you might want fixed under warranty. (You may as well get those things done at the same time as the service.) How about changing to synthetic oil now? It's a good time to do it. Also check on the price of their oil and filter change. If it's cheaper than the 7,500 service charge, then ask for the oil change, instead of the full service. You can check the air pressures yourself, and save yourself a bunch of Aussie dollars.

Are you sure it's 10,000K miles - not 10K miles? 10 million miles is pretty good going before the first service!
ie: the (6213.999999999999 miles) statement.
