Most Japanese companies dont have any pistons to lower compression, they tend to go the NA way with Hondas. The only company I know of that turbo charge Hondas in Japan is Top Fuel. Maybe they have something to lower compression in the S2K. I know they sell a turbo kit for the S2K, I'm not sure if they make any low compression stuff for the bottom end.

Take the Comptech supercharger, remove the crank drag, intercool the 6psi, make sure you have better than average fuel and spark maps and viola ! 330RWHP
Bump up the torque down low and cut the bog out of the equation and a 12.1 is totally possible.
Having a hard time believing it? Would you have guessed that 800hp is available from less than 2 liters? It is . . .
Who will be the first to have a fully built 500HP F20 in their S2000? Shouldn't be more than a couple years.
Almost 2 years ago I predicted an S2000 to break into the 11's with FI within 2 years, I was told I was full of it. Of course those were the same people who thought you couldn't get 300hp out of a Subaru block(1.8 liters)

Congratulations derryck on your 12.1. I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of your install. I never understood how the Comptech with an additional 100 hp improves 1/4 mile times by only a bit over a half second.
Don't be too offended by some of the rude comments. Healthy skepticism is, well healthy, but insulting accusations that someone is a liar are really rude. It seems to me that reason requires that you give someone a chance to back up a claim before you call them a bullshtter. Nice hearing from you again, JRM.

Wow, 12.1 sec 1/4 mile is damn impressive. your mechanic must be incredible. Dont listen to some of these guys they are just jealous their can can't run a 12.1 1/4 mile. Thanks for showing me the potential this car has, and i'm looking forward to seeing your S2K on the cover of superstreet etc. soon.
