i just bought a brand new 2006 s2000 about one week ago. i was wondering if the 02-05 exhaust, header, and intake fit my 06? i have already read the changes that have been made to the new 06, but all i got was that the 02-05 s/c would be compatible with my 06. but will the intake header and exhaust still fit/work properly? thank you - tony

 

been discussed more than a few times...but to get you started:


invidia now makes an exhaust to fit "properly" and that is it
headers haven't been an issue
k&n makes an intake for it
aem has a prototype intake out


here are a couple of minor mods I did:

aut cooling plate (i removed the factory air divider so the air could be fed
j's racing engine torque damper
j's racing heat shield
j's racing strut bar

stoptechs on the way
coilovers if I get my money back (don't ask)

 

is the new invidia a dual exhaust or single?

what kind of intake do you have? is it carbon fiber? what brand? where did u purchase it?

yeah its already been stated that s/c wont work for 06 until they ome out with one

 

efthimios nice job of describing MY2006 mods up to this point. Comptech says they will have an exhaust ready in month. Other exhausts will fit but some modifications have to be done to the B pipe and hangers. R&D Motorsports is quoted saying "Yes, if you change exh bushings, it fits. I have on special WITH test pipe for $985 shipped, while supplies last." about the T1R Sparrow. The S/C will be sometime in 2007. Another nice mod is Rick

 

how much am i looking at for header,exhaust,intake,test pipe, and reflash. around 2500?
