'06 reviews - anybody driven one?

Car manufacturers can made DBW intrusive or they can make it great. It depends on the vehicle and it's aspirations along with protectionary measures for the engine/drivetrain.
As such, I think the DBW in the '06 S2000 is going to be great. It was great in my '01 Vette and felt great in the few late model NSX's I've driven.
On more pedestrian cars, the DBW is set-up for smoothness and to reduce driveline shock, etc.
All you wankers that say the newer S2000's are "dumbed down" and the '06 sucks because of traction/stability control should haul off and go buy an old MGB or Triumph Spitfire or TR-6. That'll show all of us who are driving sucky modern cars with features such as ABS brakes, airbags, and side impact protection.

I don't think the clutch delay valve will be removed. DBW still can't prevent clutch dumps at 9000 (backspace^4) 8000 RPMs.
