The 06 seats are amazingly comfortable and they don't look half bad. That's enough for me.
Having looked at the pics I would be unhappy with that.
My red/black 06 interior does not show the difference in leather so much as it is not all one colour.
It does seem to be a bit looser than my previous two S's. But I it.

I still find the whole "blue seats" thing a little odd, but they look good, seem to be put together well, and are quite comfortable. I've got a 3-4 hour highway drive this weekend, and I'm dreading the road noise a lot more than the time in the seats...

i like it, id rather have the grain pattern (which hides the wear better)
than the smooth kind where the wear and wrinkles show up more...
its tough and rugged....like the marlbro man

For those of you planning to change the seats, keep in mind that there is a SRS sensor under the passenger seat which turns off the system if they don't sense a certain weight, and another sensor based on seat position on the driver's side. The SRS system may not work in an accident with different seats.
It's a dilemma for me too because I want to change seats in the future for weight savings.

I actually appreciate the fact that they feel tougher than some other kinds of leather given that they're in a convertible. The majority of the seat doesn't appear to be leather anyway. I think it's just the perf'd areas. In any event, if you've ever seen what happens to any BMW M car's Nappa Leather after real world use you'll appreciate Honda for making the S2k leather more durable. They end up looking terrible and so easily damaged. In the showroom of course, they feel glorious.
