I guess there are quite a few 06 owners that have their car for a few months now. So I was wondering how they feel towards the change in leather look and feel we got as compared to previous years. For me it was quite a surprise that the leather on the seats was so different.
It does not show on pictures on the official web pages nor in brochures, but in plain day light, it looks like some cheap snake skin and it simply does not match with the rest of a black interior. I am having it replaced end of August. Anyone else contemplating a change ?

Yeah, I thought it felt like rhino butt and immediately sought to look for Recaro Toplin Sport seats. They are $1700 each though, so I decided that the OEM seats aren't so bad after all.

I actually like the seats! Perforated leather breathes better. I want to swap them out not because I don't like them, but leather tends to get a little uncomfortable in the hot summer days!

I want some red Sparco Monza seats. I like the adjustable seats over the full racing seat. But, that's just my opinion

i like it, id rather have the grain pattern (which hides the wear better)
than the smooth kind where the wear and wrinkles show up more...

To me... yeah... the snake skin type of look is ok, not great though. I've seen better looking leather than that. Now the feel and quality of the seats... I haven't had anything to even come close to how comfortable these seats are and how good they feel... absolutely outstanding IMO!!!!

The 06 seats are amazingly comfortable and they don't look half bad. That's enough for me.
