06 Brake question

06 Brake question
When I first got my 06 in November, my wheels, especially the front wheels, were forever getting black from brake pad dust. Now, with 8,500 miles, they no longer get black. Why is this?

thanks for that comment......I was also wondering about the black dust !!
I'm happy to hear it gets better.I have 1300 miles on my 06 and have never seen
such a dramatic difference in front and rear wheel dust.
