just a thought....given the clutch slippage with 04 and delay valve, i am thinking you would be able to change (increase) the launch RPM for those that have done the mod and removed it

Does anyone even read my posts? maybe this is why there are so many people who can't break 13's in the 1/4 mile with their S2000's. there is no set rpm to launch at. EVER. SOOO many things affect traction conditions.
tire temperature, track surface temperature, track makeup/composition, ambient temperature, ambient humidity, tire pressure, etc.
All these variables and some people seem to think that if you just go ahead and dump it at a set rpm you'll do good. and then people wonder why they can't break 13's? If you aren't getting AT LEAST a 2.1 60', then you are not getting a good launch.
anyone who is a GOOD DRIVER will tell you, there IS NO SET RPM TO LAUNCH AT. EVER. if they try to tell you that launching at 5500 or 6000rpm is the way to do it, then chances are they have never broken 13's themselves and are incorrect in their statement.

there, did you all hear me. this is a bandaid on your elbow, for a sore on your knee. this part works better than almost every other one ive seen. and i have an aftermarket designed one, that is adjustable delay on my drag car. leave it, stop being cheap and dumb, and put a stronger pressure plate in your car, that can actually shut. did you ever think honda was a step ahead of you, they designed this part stout, and it couples perfectly with a stage 2 or 3 pressure plate. you can sidestep the clutch, with slicks lets say, and the car will start to launch, you feel the slip, and then the clutch smoothly comes in, it is BAD ASS!.

i like how everyone on here, is smarter than engineers at honda, who have unlimited $ for R&D. cracks me up. this part is perfect in every aspect, DO NOT take it off. please. laters. dave
