Hey guys,

I bought the 04 front bumper, headlights and grille from Jeff (hardtopguy). I just took it up the paint shop and they are calling asking these 2 questions:

1. Are there any clips for the grille that hold it to the front bumper? When I received my stuff from Jeff all that was in it was a Grille, no kind of clips or bolts.

2. Do I have to buy new HID's for the 04 headlights? He said something about the old bulbs are square and the new one should be circle?

I'm a little confused by all of this because I thought it was a pretty easy install and I thought I had everything I needed. Only reason why I decided to them paint and install was because they quoted me $300 to paint/install. Please help!!

I think the "grill" (what there is of it) connects to the body, not the bumper. I will look when I get home if nobody else posts.

I don't know about the HIDs.

 

I just went back up there and took them some print outs of a DIY that was posted up on the forum. They said they don't feel comfortable cutting up the head lights to make the HID fit in. So I'm picking up the bumper after work and going to try to install the head lights by mysefl. Two more questions.

1. Is it best to just file the HID hole in the 04 headlights into a square so that the '01 HIDs will fit?

2. What kind of bracket should I use? I'm most likely going to use this one that AJ PwR used, anyone now where I can find this at?
