Hey all, I may be going against the rules on this, but idk where else to post this :/ I am considering selling my 02 Berlina Black S2000 with Red/Black interior and 77k miles to get an 04+ S2K. The only problem is that when I bought the car 6 months ago the owner was a douchebag and didn't tell me that the frame had been repaired before. I ran a carfax but a previous owner had taken it to Arkansas and wiped it clean so it didn't show up. Only till after I bought it and took it to a Honda dealership to have it serviced, did I find this out. The car runs great, and I was just wondering if you all think the frame repair will cause the value to go down a lot even though its not visible unless you look under the car?

 

Would you have paid anywhere near the same price if you KNEW the frame was damaged? I think you have your answer... I don't think one can say exactly how much, but it's definitely going to be affected.

 

Doesn't Carfax have a warranty specifically for these types of incidents?

 

I thought in '02 the black came in black and black or black and full red, wasnt the black/red from '01?
