Just wanted to say hi. I just picked up 05 Rio Yellow S2k. I had a Silverstone S2k back in 2001, had it for two years. I sold that and got Track model 350Z, drove it for two years, and sold it a week ago. My Z was Turbo chraged and it was fun car... BUT, I missed the handling and top down driving of S2K. So two days ago I got my self a another one! Going fast on the straight was fun for a bit, but nothing beats top down, midnight driving through the twisties. I am so happy to be back on my S.

 

Good to hear welcome back!!! the 350z vert doesnt appeal to me in the least bit.

 

Yeah, it looks horrible with the top up. At least the S looks good with the top up or down, preferably down

Feels like a huge weight reduction doesn't it? No more sloppy handling for you sir.

 

I am having so much more fun in this car then the Z. If anything this tells you that more HP does not always equal more fun. And I think my stock S handles better then my old Z with Tein FLEX. Don't get me wrong, the Z was a great car. But I just think S2000 is better car for people who love to drive. Z is more main stream I would say, and although it is good enough for most people it leaves something to be desired by true drivers. That's just my .02.
