'00 taillight issue after recall?
I got the tail lights of my MY00 replaced under recall a few weeks ago. My GF was driving behind me tonight and noticed that when the headlights are on:
1) The little lights on the sides of the tail lights work fine.
2) The brake lights work fine.
3) The main driving lights where the brak lights are do NOT work.
Possibilities:
1) Improper install by the dealership
2) Burned out bulbs (in BOTH tail lights?)
3) The replacement units sent by Honda have different connectors.
I never would have known except somebody I know was driving behind me at night. Can somebody with a MY00 that has had the recall done check out their tail lights and see if they have the same issue?

I had to replace three bulbs the within days of getting this recall done.....Both rear side markers and one of the running lights mysteriosly all went KAPOOT at the same time......Go figure!!
A cannot comprehend how that could possiblt be as a result of the taillight install. But in reality, I have read about others that have had a similar experience.

Thanks for posting this, I'll be taking her in next weekend to get the recall done while I'm away on vacation. I'll be sure to check and post up w/any details. Here's hoping others chime in on this. The last thing we need is the law issuing us tickets because of Honda's f-up.
