yeh lots of $ and labor. Just buy lots of cleaner for the plastic window and it'll be cool. Mine still looks good and think about the good side bigger rear window compared to glass. It does def take alot more maintanence though so be ready.

I have an '01 plastic window, and let me say, get an '02 if you can. The cost and effort to go to the glass after buying the plastic is not worth it. I will be having to buy an all new top, sans spider, to go glass...I'm expecting to run into the $900 range. And get Modifry's elastic.
