mmmm....prob did 9kRPM!! but overall i think for the price and practabilty the CTR is very good!! I think AP1 will be more fun to drive tho so im going to get one! Would get an AP2 but they look ugly compared to the AP1!

I think they should have mountd the gearstick on the dash like the CTR in the S2k! Would have bee perfect driving machine!

Also, European S2ks had revised headlights for 2002. They had the chrome housing instead of the flat black.

hey I think the only EP3 chassis here is a 1.6litre.. I think its called a Civic SI and the same as a UK Civic Type-S? it maybe shitter...

I think the 04 + Uk cars are basically an AP2 with the 2litre engine
17's, revised suspension speakers, console etc

oh yea I would buy an s2000 over a CTR anyday no disrespect to the CTR though RWD is more fun

Meh, I love both of the cars, but IMO Ep3R and AP1 are equal to one another.....

Why would you resurrect such a dumb thread?

RWD doesn't stand for rear wheel drive in my book, it stands for RIGHT (as in correct) Wheel Drive

^hells yeah. no offence but i think the ep3 civics are worst newer model civic. the most ugly, for us in the us they come with the shitty 160hp motor. horrible suspension design. also not digging the shifter on the dash and that sloppy cable shifter. fwd ftl. that said s2000 ap1 or ap2 hands down

It's less than a year old, I wouldn't consider it resurrected....ran across the vid and remembered this thread. I thought I'd throw it out since it was relevant to the topic. Next time I'll remember that nobody cares unless it's new/fresh even if it is a relevant reply to a thread.

I agree ap2 props both the ap1 and Ep3, but the thread topic isn't relevant to Ap2's, much like saying the Mugen RR > AP2. Since when did the clubrsx and NASIOC style replies hit S2ki.com?

I was a previous owner of an 04 Civic Si, and everything USDM was crap. A typeR would push 197 hp with a K20A2 motor, while we got a K20A3 making 160hp. Suspension was terrible and had to be the first mod to run a lil bit more sporty. If we could of had the JDM spec for the Ep3, I would've definitely kept it.
