While I do miss my ITR, the S is really more satisfying in all aspects (other than my color choice).

thanks for the info guys,

Wikipedia : "For the 2002 model year, suspension settings were revised and the plastic rear window was replaced by a glass unit incorporating an electric defroster. Other updates included slightly revised tail lamps, an upgraded radio, and a revised engine control unit."

What was involved in the revised ECU for the 2002> models? anyone know?

I know that the AP2 2004+ only rev to 8000k rather then 9000k like the AP1, but 2002 -2004 (53) aint AP2??

The EP3 might contain Honda's worst suspension design ever. If you're going to do any suspension mods, have fun with that can of worms.

lol, why do you say that? I've had an EP3 and i think handeling was good!!

This S2000 business is getting complicated as most of you guys are from america, as far as i know here in the uk we only have the F20 engines so does this mean they rev to 9000k or are do the AP2 2004 + here also only rev to 8200rpm??

It's like it was designed for a mini van and the suspension geometry shows. Struts are too short, mounted vertically and don't have enough travel. The tie rods are connected to the lovely struts, steering rack is too high, alignments are ridiculously limited.

Put it this way, look at the latest Civic SI and you'll find Honda corrected all of the above.

Don't get me wrong, if we had any K motor in our EP3s OTHER than the K20A3, I'd have a lot more patience for the car. There are a some that handle great, but they look nothing like a stock set up. Type R? Different story.. I'll put up with some headaches for that motor.

why would you compare an ep3 to an s2k. s2k is way out of it's league, imho

you should compare the FD2 to an s2k

way out of what league? they're pretty comparable. it's a much better car than the civic si honda was so kind to give to the US market.

definatly is!!

Dont have a clue what the civic si is, we have a civic type r EP3 here in UK with a K20 motor, 197bhp!!

The CTR is around 300kg lighter then s2000, but the s2000 has extra 40bhp, only difference is RWD and FWD!!

I think a drag race would be close!!
