Default WRX vs (apparently no one and still lost)

These clowns did it to themselves but I still feel badly for them.

scroll down to the accident and there is a streaming video of it.

Wow. Thats really bad.

Its always the person not driving that takes the worst of it. Why is that?

I know what you mean about the driver vs passenger injuries but in this case both are deceased. Also unless the passenger was telling the driver he wanted no part in this joy ride I consider him a willing participant and all bets are off at that point.

Just a guess but in this situation I bet the passenger was all for some street racing. They were both enrolled at Wyotech which is an automotive/diesel college I believe.

Must of been some sharp A** trees to cut that thing in half as cleanly as they did.

Wyotech is mostly a car college. They also teach how to build hot rods there. Apparently they don't teach how to drive wisely. Another life lost to someone showing off for a friend that was ironically killed.

In accidents where trees and high speeds are involved, the car getting cut in half by the trees is not that unusual. Trees don't give much.

Unfortunate that anyone died, but better the kids in the WRX than the folks in the Maxima or Explorer.

Darwin strikes again.
