Drive an S2000 and you'll want to trash the WRX. Its a driving experience that is unequaled. And if u were thinking of asking me if I had ever driven a WRX, dont even try it. I had a 95' RX7 which makes the WRX feel like if it was the most insignificant car to wear a turbo

Look I had to get it off my chest, whatever floats ur boat, the S2000 does it for me. The car is a wonderfully engineered machine by Honda, and it looks sharp!

For me to even consider a WRX they would have to 1. Remodel the interior and 2. Do anything to change the exterior because it is pretty unexciting. Is it fast? YES, no doubt and it has AWD, but to have an exciting car u have to have the whole package which includes LOOKING like a sports car, not just feeling like your in one.

Why did this turn into modability war anyways??? Just compare stock vs. stock and the numbers speak for themselves....the s2000 is a much better street performer, while the WRX is a much better "dirt performer"...that's what it comes down to

How about this....

Unlimited mod $$.

I'm gonna swap the S2k engine for two General Electric F110 Jet Engines mounted on either rear sidepanel. I might need some upgraded drive train components...maybe. And maybe I will actually need one of those crazy rear wings people are putting on their cars lately.

I'll rape any car on the street with this setup. Maybe I'll put some retractable wings on the doors too in case I want to drag some learjets.

Now thats a mod! Beat that. Mach 3 here I come. weeeeeeee.

I'm not sure what the 0-60 will be. Maybe 10ms. That'll be cool when my face rips off my skull and I launch into the side of a building.

he just needs to swap the turbo, and slap some injectors in the car to get where i am at... You'll need something to control fuel to get the injectors to work...

You can make it into the 12s on the stock turbo however. There was a guy a tuner friend of mine helped with that had the same modifications, and then the tuner did some ECU stuff for him and the car went 13.0 with a cat on the car. Thats a 12.9 easy without the cat.

Thanks! I'm a previous Honda owner and I love the S2000. Actually any car that can go fast and handle well, I love. Z06, GTR, EVO, Mustang Cobra, S2000, etc...

I almost bought an S2000 (had it on order), but practicality won in the end.

Interesting topics here
I raced a good buddy of mine. From 50 - 120. I'm a noobie driver, I was shy from racing him. But after a lot of instigating. We started to go at it. From 50 - 120, it was the closest race I have ever been into, I had him by no more than a bumper ..... I believe if we raced from a light, he would have the jump on me. But on high end, the stock wrx turbo really runs out of breath. And that's where the 9k rpm shines.

S2k's mods - Injen cold air intake, HKS hiper exhaust, lowered by Tein suspension. very heavy Veilside wheels. Bridgestone s03's.
The car has never run at the track
wrx's mods - Injen cold air intake, 3" turbo back custome N1 exhaust, apexi avcr, 18 pds boost, greddy bov, Tein suspension, apexi safc. Best time:13.4 at Maryland International raceway

Very fun race, I respect the wrx very much, I also suprised him by a lot, he thought s2 was just a convertible, now I got his respect. Some strange reason, he never try to race me again =) He is waiting for his new turbo thou =(

Stock the WRX REALLY runs out of steam above 80. An S2000 would murder it after 80. But add a boost controller and its a little closer.

After I broke my engine in three weeks ago, I was on the Grapevine ( I5 north) and a brand-new WRX was behind me and pulled up next to me. It was about 12:30am so the road was basically wide open. He took off and I shifted from 5th to 4th - caught and passed him when I hit VTEC - man, my engine was screaming like an opera star. Anyway it was a decent race but as I climbed higher in the revs the distance between our cars got bigger (quit at 120mph - relax everyone nobody was on the road). In all fairness the WRX was brand new as he didn't have plates. I was thinking that he let off because he was still in the brake-in period. What a way to get broken in

With some mods on that WRX those things start to get scary. Stage-three mods would be good to take out a Supra or Z06
