Most of my friends who drag their camaros on regular basis sparys. I mean, these guys hit the drag strips almost every weekend. Heck, one guy even sprays his wife's Chevy Lumina(100 shot) and he wants to race me everytime
From what I've seen at the strips, anyone who hangs around the drag strips long enough uses Nitrous. You can say what you want about it being cheap HP and all, but Nitrous is the best bang for buck when setup properly and used right.
Tuan: It must be cool to see glen yank the front wheels when he launches! I have seen some old school mustangs and vegas yank the front wheels all the way thru 1st though. Very scary.

S2000_rider, motor swap is very common in the import performance world, but I've seen Z06 owners take the LS-6 motors out for some crazy swap.......... If you got the sufficient funds available in your bank anything is possible.

I've never seen a LS6 guy take the motor out to go with anything completely different. I've seen a couple of guys switch to an iron block instead of the aluminum block but that's about it. It's basically just an IRON version of the aluminum LS6 block.
Wes is right, if you have forged internals and a solid fuel system you can just spray the hell out of the LS1/LS6 platform and make a whole lot of power.
