I just wanted to make a few points. first 8000RPM does have a point. but you could say that about any car club or website out there. i have visited a few other owner-based sites and all of them are there to talk about their cars, and some of the people do tend to get a little arrogant. second, how fast a car is in the 1/4 mile does not measure a cars worth, but it is a nice bonus. on the point of being childish, whats more childish? coming on a board for s2000 owners and trying to get a rise out of them by making fun of s2000's, or just pointing out that most of your views are true about all car owners, to a certain extent. so why dont you take your 78 civic/hybrid (or whatever it is) and run the 1/4 mile for all you're worth (which isnt much).

i have a hybrid and an s. The hybrid is much faster but a piece of crap. I would never consider giving up my s for the hatch. Anyways, your hybrid must not be all that good because mine revs freely past 9000 rpms. You should take this to a hybrid or honda forum web site.

I hope 8000rpm and sorry people like you are kicked off our peaceful forum.
I have said this before and I will say it again...Enthusiast for the most part (76.2%) are ignorant POS..I have yet to see Enthusiast say "I am a 5 cylinder car and up and I am trying to prove that my car is almost as good (or better) than an S2000." We S2000 OWNERS never waste our time in a big long forum trying to prove that to any stock 4 cylinder car (3 cylinder for the festiva)...So in turn all you Enthusiasts like 8000rpm are making us look like GODS!!!! We do not intend to be this way but, thanks to ya'll,, it feels pretty damn close..
OH by the way I am an assoole, but you are letting everyone see how little minded you are. I for one would quit while everyone is still LOL
Drive your hybrid, but you will never be looked at as we are looked upon...thankgod,,now go home so mommy can make you feel all better. Please stop crying.
