boxster... at least when you've owned a car, learn how to spell it
Hmm,

I forgot the criticality of proper spelling in the street encounter forums...

Plus,

I was about 4 glasses into a very nice Chianti Classico last night, and proper spelling was of little concern.

Yeah, no kidding. There's a bone stock LS1 SS at my local autox that regularly finishes in the top three in A Stock.. Last time it was faster than me by 2.5 seconds, and faster than the only S2k by 3.5 seconds..

I was just wondering because I figured you'd be putting down more hp to the wheels. Stock GTI's put down 150 whp if I'm not mistaken and they only boost 7 psi and spike around 10. I'm not trying to knock you or anything, I'm just curious because my last car was an 04 GTI 1.8T.

This is a bit OT, but considering my only mods are a chip, MBC, and air filter I think 193/238 is pretty darn good.. Don't know of any other cars that are dynoing that high with so little mods. Plus we both know that the little K03 isn't much good at that pressure. It's all hot air..

Stock boost is 12 psi in a 1.8T? Mine always read at 7 spiked to 10 along with every other stock MKIV 1.8T I've encountered. That's what most stockers on the vortex seem to boost too. I know with a chip you'll run 10-12 psi and spike around 15.

Depends on year and engine code, but yeah stock boost should settle in to around 10-11psi (on AWP's at least)
