Good move on your part, no point in risking your job over some idiot.

As for the race, next time pick on the pre 98 The LT1's are a much better race for the S2K, those can be pulled on.

Kumar...You need to take that hp # on your Vette out of your sig, everytime I see it, it makes me jealous Thats insane for an NA, im assuming bigger motor?

ya i have been waiting to update it

my car has been down forever getting motor updates, fuel system updates, and a brand new paintjob, new suspension and brake components, blah blah blah

i am going back for grad school in a month so i decided to go ahead and "finish" the car

oh and its a 408 cubic inch motor; dont feel like doing the math but thats around 6.7L right?

You found the single thing the Z28 doesn't suck at... going fast in a straight line.

I'm sorry, but one of my friends owns a late model z28 that was handed down from his parents. It's fast, and it's a nice comfortable (compared to our cars) ride on the freeway. Any sort of handling maneuver felt sloppier than my mothers Lincoln Mark VIII.

Everyone I know that has an LT1 is modding them...the slowest is low 13's.

You can for a few grand get some stout power out of LT1's...400rwhp is the norm.

The cars are getting cheap and the aftermarket is sorta coming around for them.

I agree...

I have had

Integra GSr
Integra Tyoe R
WRX
S2000 (still have it)
M3
Boxter S

Bottom line, my "old school" push rod V8 whoops on all their asses. I never was a believer of big cc's and lower effeciency, but damn that LS6 is one F'ing bad a$$ motor.
boxster... at least when you've owned a car, learn how to spell it
