Default Vette vs. S2000

After reading all the threads about S2000 beating Vette, I just can't convince myself to believe it. So for all S2000 owner in the DFW area, please convince me by bringing your S2000, stock or slightly moded to race my friend 98 Vette convertible auto ( the slow one). Email me or response to this message if you want to play.

not all races consist of just a straight line. A lot of the times, people are weaving in, out and around cars on the freeway. Also many times people draft each other, the obvious way to race. The driver skils is another factor. May not be that large of a factor in this because I think everyone knows that a C5 vette is definitely faster than an S2k. It all depends on the situation.

If anyone in the area wants to get together, I'm game too. I just really want a ride in one and see how the two cars stack up. Of course, I have intake and exhaust, so I'm game for any S2000 really. I don't care about getting beat, just wanna go in one.

I'm not game, as I really don't think I could beat a Corvette. An automatic Corvette convert is still a fast car in my books, as I've been the passenger in one. Don't forget also that with an automatic it's hard to not drive good. Yeah...the auto shifting is not optimal for peak peformance, but you can't mis-shift..etc.etc. Just mash the pedal and go.

Try hooking up with a S/C one and then I think the Vette might lose.

If he's up for a good beating by another domestic, I have a friend with a 00 Mustang GT that wouldn't mind racing him.
