I was considering picking up a B5 S4 to use as a beater...........but from what I hear the maintenance on those cars can be expensive, and the K03s dont particularly like the excess heat from overboosting.
no, not at all... that's why you have to upgrade the throttle body boot, bpv, and all hoses... in addition to intake to avoid overheating and blowing the turbo...

The RS4 has that front mounted intercooler with the different grill for better air flow...

for once- I agree with Steve...

my upgrades to make it potentially track ready- though I'm only running it MAYBE once a year... (s2k is for that)- is a short shifter, intake, boot and hoses, GIAC chip- for another 100hp, Heavier sways, coilovers...

if I wanted to seriously track it- I'd still need porsche calipers, hawk pads, some weight reduction (at least 200lbs if I could find where to dump it) lighter wheels.

... but I'm currently trying to sell mine pakisho- throw me an offer!

Street racing is for girls!

I remember I raced that Z06. 20-120mph and I was 5 cars back, not bad at all.

I'm now upgrading to 7 or 9 psi and tuning with EMS. Looking to get 320 or 340 rwhp. I should be good for the ZO6 in it's form now, but you did mention he was upgraging.

See you guys next week.

I think the guy with the supra is into story telling.. He said he dyno'd at 510 to the ground with the stock turbo's but he got whopped so bad.. I don't get it..

Liem,

The mod's that he is putting in will get him a conservative 65-75+ HP to the wheels. Its gonna be alot faster.. He'll have to rerace him.. When are you gonna get a smaller pulley?

No way he put down 500 to the wheels on the stock turbos. He's blowing smoke up your ass.

I honestly don't think I could take the ZO6 with the new upgrades I'm getting in it's current form.

I do believe it will be close but not enough for me to pull. I however, will be hard to shrug off.

I have no intentions of racing the ZO6, afterall, we are on the same side.

What I'm getting is 7 lbs pulley (should be 8 without aftercooler) 650cc injectors and AEM EMS. Looking to get 315-320 rwhp, better midrange and safer A/F ratios.

Should be tuned in 3 weeks.

See you tommorrow.
