Honestly, if I owned any one of those exotics, I wouldn't waste an ounce of my 93-octane on an S2000 and I sure as hell wouldn't expect someone in an S2000 to challenge me, so I'm going to go with the theory of these guys were just awe-struck into a stuper with you in your S trying to race them. If I had $100,000+ exotic, I would not be street racing it on A1A. If that road is anything like A1A in Daytona Beach (lived there for 7 years), I couldn't imagine doing 100+ mph on it.

Bobby: I just saw a vid of a supra, viper and a murcielago...The car you raced was in fact a replica. I remember the taillights on your video being two seperate taillights in the rear. On the murc, they're are one piece and the front end doesn't look 100% accurate either. None-the-less, it was probably an aluminum chasis, light weight 305 SB Chevy in there! Still a good run but much more understandable!
MX5: great post! I do disagree though with the handling forgiveness of the S2000 vs. the NSX. Many people are accustomed to drive a front engined car and not a mid-engined car. Understeer and oversteer are much harder to control and once you start losing it in the X, you're pretty much done. I haven't gotten to drive an S2000 too much but it seems alot more forgiving than the NSX in turns, although with the extra weight in the back, it takes a bit more to break the X lose...but when you do, it can be catastrophic
