No pricing or specs have been released, but it's definetly more than 650hp and more than $45K for the package installed. These are the numbers for the stage II turbo kit that runs high 9's. Nothing more has been released.
The fastest/quickest LS1 (street driven at least) is a NOS TransAm built by ARE Motorsports. That things nuts... I think it was a 9.47 or something around there.

9s? with 650HP? I'm not sure about that. A McLaren F1 has 627HP and runs low 11s.
Supras that have about 900-1000 HP runs 9s so I'm not sure if a Vette with only 650 HP will be able to run 9s. Although the Vette is lighter but does the HP make up for the weight difference?
Now what I'm wondering is that a Turbod S2000 with about 385 (roughtly 330HP rwhp) to the crank runs 12.1, maybe high 11s but how much more HP woud it need to run low 11s or 11 flat? The S2000 is 200lbs heavier too than the McLaren F1... hmmm...
Of course at very high speeds the McLaren would definitely just blow by.

Not to knock Mr. Lingenfelter because he does put out some pretty good stuff, but he's a little late in the twin turbo Corvette arena. Sure his kit is hundreds of thousands less than what it would take for you to get a Sledgehammer from Reeves Callaway, but that Corvette was a mean sonofabitch! And built back in the 80's, too.
Keeps stock displacement. Drops compression. Two turbos. 898hp at the crank. And 250+mph. 0-60 in 3.9 and the quarter in 10.6. All done on crappy shaved Gatorbacks.
I wonder how many Callaway built.

Here's the vid. It was the first time out and he was running a modded viper. This was the owner of the car, not a professional driver. One of LPE's guys got it a bit faster. This was done at the vette/viper shootout.

Yadda yadda yadda. Turbo turbo turbo.
Do y'all just drag race, or do some of you know how to operate a steering wheel?
The ace card of the S2k is handling. Relentless, high end, full g, no-holds-barred oversteer be damned, point and shoot handling. Can't think of a better way to screw that all up and make it even more unmanageble than to bolt on a freaking hairdryer and make it even more difficult to handle in the corners.
Shit, and I don't even drive an S2k anymore.
