Default Turbo S2K vs SRT-4

I know everyone always says this, but I very rarely get into a race on the street. I finally got my turbo project finished with a little tuning and couldn't resist. And what do you know? I ran into a SRT-4. We were on the highway started from 60ish and he slowly walked me. I thought maybe it was because I had a bad start and maybe started in too high of a gear, but when we went at it again the same thing happened. I knew they were fast, but I have to admit I wasn't expecting to lose. Afterwards he told me he was running 19psi so that made me feel a little better. All I can say is damn, those things are really fast considering how much they cost. I don't know how long they'll last running 19psi, but its still amazing.

I was going to say that a Stock S2k can beat a stock SRT-4 but damn 19psi!! Personally I would dare run that high of PSI on that car without upgrading the internals. I guess he will find out when he overboosts and blows his engine.

What kit are you running, and what does a SRT-4 boost stock. That's kinda crazy, turbo s2k's are mid 12's.

A well tuned Turbo S2 should trap in the mid teens at least...what kind of power is your car putting down?

srt4 stock boosts from 11-17psi.

i guess one guy on the srt4 forums was pushing 500+plus at the wheels before he blew his engine, all on stock internals. that's not bad. imagine when he builds his engine.
