. I dont know what the big deal is when its true. Turbocharged @ 9 psi on the ls1 is usually good for around 600rwhp and 600+rwtq. When i see people getting butt hurt about the ls1 the words of dave chappelle usually come to mind, YA CANT DENY ME!!! It is what it is so Get over it.

I don't see 756 ft. lbs.? How about .62 times.

And nobody's butt hurt?

I just bought a 2008 LS3 Corvette that will be Procharged before the weather gets warm again.

Apples and Oranges.

But to anyone that thinks a bolt-on N/A LS1 off the bottle will smoke my S2000, you are sorely mistaken.

The post is about a detuned s2k on 5psi. May aswell be stock at that point considering the motor starts to produce at 2,3,4 times that much pressure.
I am with everyone else though fast is fast. If you are willing to put some money into it then more power to ya.
My brother is a ford guy and owns 3 mustangs. Not my thing but I repect him and he respects me. Its alot of fun when you aren't fighting about brands.

LS1 is a beast of a motor. Responds very well to mods. Great motor for a 1/4 mile car IMHO. I had a '98 Camaro w/ the LS1. I still prefer my S2000 to it, but no doubt, if I lined up with my old Camaro, I would get smoked terribly. To the nay sayers, relax. Sure you can get a lot of power out of the F20 / F22 (going FI), but you cannot deny that the LS1 will repond better to mods. It will always be a formidable opponent.

Lol, 603tq on a Mustang dyno isnt bad should be 640-650+ on a dynojet.

Lol, what kind of "bolt ons" on the LS1 vs your turbo'd S?
