and do you know if they plan to make it into a product?

umm...what?
supra TT, Ferrari F40, Porsche 911 TT, 3000 GT VR4, RX7, WRX....and others...any High Performance Turbo car is gonna be RWD..since FWD...well...kinda sucks!!

There are just a lot more FWD cars now...so if you see a Turbo car it may be more likely to be FWD, but only because there are so many freakin FWD cars. And most Turbo FWD cars come from a certain subset of the car making population, Audi, Sabb, Volvo...
