I brake check people all the time, it really gets them pissed 
If someone screws with you, I give it back to them triple - and then some. I've followed people back to their house before even.

I have launched 150+ times with my original stock clutch and it has 28,000 miles on it as well. The stock differential can't be that weak....I would contribute most of the differential problems to user error.

I did that back in my high school days though... 
I wouldn't get to their driveway or anything, I'd just follow them into the neighborhood and drive by their house to scare them. I was 17 or 18 years old
