Top up vs Top down comparison *vid*
This is the same srt-4 that I just posted the other night, but I thought you all would like to see the difference of drag!
After we ran a few times with my top up, I wanted to compare for shits and giggles, and dam can I say im pissed that I ran all thoes times before with my top down!
In the 1st race I would start to pull in 4th gear (w/the top up)...in the 2nd race with my top down HE would start to pull in 4th...I missed 5th in both races but you can get an idea of the difference with it up/down..
F***ing drag! Takes some of the fun out of racing!

Drag forces are applied at an exponential rate as speed increases. So less is always better. It is all ways tempting to race with the top down. You get all those fun audio and visual inputs!

It's actually noticeable (well to me) Just pay attention next time your in your car, go somewhere with the top down, and on the way back put it up and try getting on it a bit, IMO its very noticeable.
For comparison, when me and my hubby have both cars out, its a much closer race when I have the top up, with it down it's not even funny, he can pass me easily and keep pulling away.
