Sometimes there are really good posts... but a lot of times things end up being silly flames.

Yeah, as an example look at my 330xi post in this forum. Turned into a childish flame fest real fast...

it's good sometimes...

but too much testosterone flying about

I have to admit-I don't know half the USA cars-we don't get any dodge's,chevvys in the UK-only the odd occasional imported one

I don't race much, so I enjoy well written descriptions of street encounters.

I like the forum. It goes in this order, local forum, so cal forum, for sale forum, street encounters, under the hood, and photo gallery. I like to see what other cars are capable of. I love to see the flaming, though I rarely ever post. Does it take away from the site? I don't think so, but I think it adds flavor. Most sites have them, and I guess if you don't like to read about street racing, the best thing is to stay out of the forum. Here in Phoenix, last week alone there were two deaths caused by street racing, and the sad thing is the people that died weren't involved. I hate to admit this, (please no flaming) but I got a kick outa both Fast and Furious movies, and that has really hit home with younger drivers and I am sure it has played a large role in the street racing scene. I guess if one isn't mature enough to know it's just a movie, they shouldn't be driving. When I saw the movie, my wife and I took her STOCK 4 door Civic sedan just so we wouldn't have other cars revving on us. I think that Drivers Ed should include some sort of track time at the drivers expense. In Germany, it cost $1,000 to get your license, and I think it makes you cherish it a bit more. Just my 2 cents.

No. It usually sounds like BS and don't know what to believe!

Haha! I rode with a friend that drove an Olds Alero because I didn't want any ricers messing with my stuff! (At the time, I had a '00 Prelude, with the only noticeable modification being that it was lowered on Tein HAs).

It is entertaining. Too bad its winter here and I cannot chime in with some kills or deaths. Another month or so and us NY people will be back posting
