i was at 295 yesterday heading home from work(between 6:30PM and 7:10PM)

cruisn down 295 at 50mph i saw a loud black car starting to catch up with me(having a lot of run ins from the law mad me think twice about speeding yet alone racing) but as luck would have it the roads were cleared up and i had my top up.

we slowed down to a 40 role and he put down his windows
supra guy - you want to open it up a little bit?
s2k - i dont think id have a chance
supra guy - ill let you jump first and see where we go from there
s2k - i nodded my head and got ready for it by down shifting to 2nd

he honked his horn twice, and in the third time i gunned it
i was far ahead from 2nd to third gear but as soon as i hit 4th gear i heard the spool of his turbo and passed me as if i was standing still.

we stopped over a gas station in 198 and had a few laughs about american muscle cars. the guy was from ne jersey and was pretty cool, with a fast twin turbo supra.

hes here for a couple of days and just wanted to get a few races in the road.

i dont really feel bad loosing to a twin turbo supra even if he did kill my s2k(comptech intake and dual invidia exhaust) and besides, the guy wasnt an asswhole about it.

he actually showed me his engine bay, all chromed stuff under the hood and his estimated power was between 450 to 520 hp.

if thats the case then i HIGHLY doubt he was twin turbo. i know they come stock with twins but to get big power out of the 2JZ, most guys go with a single turbo setup. even if he was completely stock with twins he wouldve pulled you tho

he actually gave me a head start(couple of seconds) before he even gunned it.

not sure if it was a single or twin turbo, all i saw was the twin turbo sticker(emblem??) on the back of his car.

sure is fast though and sexy

ya but he mighta left it hard to know, thats bad ass though either way u can make em easily over 600hp. Love supras
