Anyone know how fast a suburban could run the quarter mile? I was thinking maybe 22 seconds? Anyone have an educated quess? Thanks.

my father has a suburban and I always make fun of him because it is so slow. I just want to know how slow it is.

 

i'm sure he could make it fast.. theres a mini-van that runs 12's.

Car and Driver tested one lately. 17.6 sec. 1/4. However, Lingenfelter (Corvette and Viper tuner) has done one up with all kinds of stuff (bored out, twin turbos, intercooler, etc.) that would give the S a good run for its money (might even beat a stock one).

 

yea, I saw the same minivan, crazy ass turboed mini.

 

Yeah, but those Durangos are faster than they look. My local Solo2 guru bought one, made an exhaust mod, and G-tech'd a 7.3 0-60. Pretty fast for a tuna boat!
