Default Subaru wrx vs s-2000....the winner is...

............ME....Hahaha. There's this guy this afternoon that push me with is wrx and i finally had to show him what an( S )can do...I was faster than him but he was close to me until 220 km/h. He came out of the highway at the same exit than me an said that he really had to push hard to follow me...and......told me he had lots of modifications on his car. He couldn't beleave his eyes how fast the S is !!! My car is stock ( but that is going to change soon ).I'm really surprise that i did beat him because i heard lots of good things on this car ! Have you ?

t.c.,

Good job bud.

The WRX has a good launch (from a stoplight), but if it still has the stock turbo and settings...the car isn't that fast when it is already moving.

The S2000 will pull away from pretty strong in 3rd gear.

Nice one!

On the Solo II circuit, WRXs never seem to do very well either. Maybe the new STi will challenge the S2k if it ever arrives in the U.S.

I just bought my ( S ) in january so it never been stored !! So when the road are dry i usuly have little ride
But since i hate to keep an engine stop almost 5 or 6 months ( I use to have a motorcycle...Trade it for the S )
I don't think i will store this car, cuz whenever the road are dry and without ice, it's good to have the engine ( And the car itself ) have a ride ...Try it !! It's a good way to keep a big smile on your face all winter !!!

Seems to be no real contest when it's stock vs stock. I've gone side by side with a friend several times, and he only got me once, when I went to 5th instead of 3rd (I was just getting accustomed to the 6-spd). A g-tech pro also supports this. I've hit 15.2 @ 98 (0-60 in 6.5) with a light launch, and his best was 15.5 @ 97 (0-60 in 6.7). Both of these runs are pretty equal when considering the accuracy of the tool, but hp runs are nowhere close.
