BTW, IMHO, I don't see how a WRX that traps 98 is above a stock S2000 that can trap 101-102. Not many people drag the S2000, but a mid 13 is definitely possible taking into account the trap speed. The S2000 is just very hard to launch. I can tell you guys haven't been to the strip too often...

For a WRX to hit consistent 12 sec runs, a turbo upgrade is defintely needed. The stock turbo just doesn't have what it takes up top. Low 13's are definitely acheivable on the stock turbo though. It really comes down to how reckless the owner feels. Turning up the boost is the way to better times, but if the car isn't set up for it you're going to run into serious problems.

.... I don't drag my S2000 to often but on both my S's I have hit high 13's @ over 101 mph. 3mph on a trap speed is quite a bit.Hey, by the way, my friend has the fastest WRX in Kansas so he will back me up on whatever I say. I haven't met him yet but once I do, I am sure he will back me up!
