Stock S2K VS Jag...1st Kill!!
Hey, this was my first true race. Couple I had before was just a quickie (no more than middle of 3rd, before shutting down). Anyways here is the story:
It is Saturday @ around 5pm (Hot and Humid in Houston, so I had my A/C full blast with top down), I meet up with my friend who driving his E46 M3, we were on our way to the Imprt Expo in Houston. We were going down a 3 lane street. I was in front and was stopped at a red light. Next to me was a Jaguar (Mid 90"s model -- I think -- , don't know too much about Jags), I didn't pay attention too much attention, because I was admiring my friend's M3. Anyways, the light turns green and I started to go, I then heard the Jag punch it, so I punch it too. We were both neck and neck to end of 1st, at the end of 2nd, his bumper was at my front door, shift to 3rd, and at the end of 4th he was at my bumper. I shut down, because of light coming up. As I was slowing down for the light, I was like "hey dummy you have your A/C still on", so I turned off my A/C and was ready for the next run. At the light I was behind him, so the light turns green. He goes pretty aggressively, I pull next to him in 2nd and was ready for the roll. But, he never went. So I looked over and tried to say
, but he just look straight ahead.
Anyways my friend saw that he wasn't gonna go again, so we just ran each other and he smoked me....
Well that's it...My 1st Kill...

To my knowledge.. there is no Supercharged X-Type. But there is the new S-Type R which pushes close to 400 HP through a 6 speed auto I believe. That should easily beat us.

From a dead stop, 0-60.... it's definitely possible that could happen against the supercharged XJR or XKR becasuse the jag pulls a 0-60 in the mid 5s, but at speed they would definitely walk away easily. The XK8 and XJ8 have 300hp and the XKR has like 370, but jags aren't exactly known for their low weight. I'm pretty sure they're in the very high 3s or even 4s.
