You would like to believe a kid driving a c5 couldn't beat you because he is a less skilled driver..... Or because you are a far superior driver.
Hmmmm, niether of you launched and you are driving straight
that doesn't seem like a situation needing too much driver skill .
I am sure that after that race, you raced the cop, a diablo and a space shuttle.

The length of your contest (what, over a minute?) pretty much takes driver skill out of the equation. He was just messing with you. No NOS required. Not saying he didn't use it, just that it wouldn't be needed.

fastest I had my C5 to was 165 (Garmin GPS measured) the speedo was reading 169... not a chance in hades that a stock S2000 will go that fast..
I also raced a auto C5 the other day off a light(well more like off of 4 or 5 lights) 2 people in my S2000 and 2 in the C5.. he was walking off and leaving me, like I'd do to a stock Civic LX..

Like others have said he was just playing a cruel joke on you. The only way you'd have a 2 car lead on a C5 to 140mph was if he got mixed up and thought the gas peddle was on the left.

very true in either case he at the end did not brag about it. and like i said we were even at 4th gear meaning 120, and i had a 2 car lead as a underdog advantage.
