There is not even a single chance that MR or the STi was all out racing you. Stock for Stock, a car with 300hp will beat a car with 240. I love my S2000 as well but i know that it will never beat an STi from any kind of race without boost. I also have many friends that have them and I have lost almost each time we race and i am not sure but i think they ran something like 13.3 at 106. Best I got in my Stock S is 13.7 at 100.

I'm not doubting that you can drive but who ever you were racing probably couldn't.
you cannot just compare crank HP to crank HP without looking at all the other factors. Power to weight, power to the wheels rather than the crank (especially since all these races are from a roll) gearing etc. The s2k with a decent driver is low 14's, some have even broken into the high 13's all stock. The reason the evo/sti run a better 1/4 is the awd launch, but from a roll that advantage for them turns into a disadvantage since they get more drivetrain power loss than a rwd car.

edit__----im not saying the s2k will win from a roll, or even stay even. Just that it shouldnt be a slaughter, especially not just based on judging crank hp vs crank hp

I took am tired of hearing how STI/EVO have poor top end speed.

Can anyone post 0-120mph times?
well its because too many stock or lightly modded evos/sti's tried racing BPU supras on the fwy lol, lots of posts about that.
