So I had the STi out this morning cruising on the highway, I was in the middle lane and I noticed a S a few cars back in my lane, he moved over to the passing lane when it cleared and he cuaght up to me. My car is pretty modded, I have a full kit, wheels and everything, and I'm guessing he thought thats all I had and this guy must not have notice my Front Mount IC Low and behold I hear him drop a gear or two and there I am already prepared and in boost ~5-7psi, when he hit it and started moving I immediately went WOT and shut him down immediately, by the time I hit 110 I had a bus length or two on the S. I tried to wave to the guy but no response.

I first want to say and compliment Gotboost for owning one of the cleanest and sharp looking STi's out there! Truly a beautiful car! Second, this is the second time I have heard S2k's have no chance against a stock STi and in this case due to the signature of A418t81, and Evo! Let me be one to tell you that this is not the case by any means. Try to encounter a well driven stock S2 against your stock STi or Evo on a nice 20+ mph run to 120-130 mph and you will see something happen that is very interesting. If that S2 doesn't have some space on you or not dead even, two things have happened. One, your not stock , two the S2 cant drive!
Plan and simple the only advantage the sti or evo have stock against us is the launch, that's it.

HvRRZ...Lol, that Evo owner obviously couldnt drive, I mean if you got ahead of him without launching, he sucked.
I see you guys saying the Evo/Sti has no chance from a roll? I think its funny, it seems to be like a magical # or something. I always see the Evo/STi got pulled by 110. I can guarantee you at 110 the Evo is pulling very hard, it is not falling on its face. I cant speak for these other drivers, who knows, but as Ive said before, When my Evo was bone stock and our S starting 2 cars ahead and getting the jump, I had pulled even by the top of 4th and was pulling away going into 5th at 118 mph. Now with just the basic mods it not even funny (havent tried since I got the ECU done) But I'd say bus lenghts is the first thing that comes to mind
BTW...That is a very nice looking STi, what do you have for performance mods, and why you selling it?

maybe the S keeps pulling up top because the EVO/STi driver stopped racing and let off the gas??? i dunno...but S2ks are hott and I give them respect.
Quik S2K, I have my mods listed on that link right above your post....selling due to shifting priorities, I just got engaged and me and my buddy are trying to start a computer consulting/service LLC.

As a former Sti owner, it pulls very hard up past 125. My guess is most let off the gas around 110 or so. Also the Sti can go manual DCCD and set 10% front, 90% rear, which helps a bit in these types of situations... though most forget to do that.
