SS Kill Story

"we have the weakest engine out of the following cars: BMW M3, Boxster S and SLK AMG. We have the lamest interior. We have a "boring" exterior. The only categorey we are winning in is realibility."
Sorry, but I think we also win in the price category by quite a large margin, unless you paid way too much for your S. And yes, two of the reasons I became an S2K owner was price and reliability. I'm not ashamed of that. Sounds like maybe a Z06 is what you would be happy with. No flame, just tired of hearing it.

Natinupe1,
All car specs give torque ratings at max torque RPM. Our car just happens to have max torque at 7500 RPM's. Also, our car has a very flat torque curve and maintains something like 85% of max torque starting at a fairly low RPM. Still not musclecar numbers but, as I'm sure you've been told before, you should have known what you were buying before you bought it. Personally, I don't see why you keep the car. You don't seem to like the looks or the performance.

Too bad you're dissapointed with the car. You should sell it, get an implant, a 1977 LS1 Corvette, silk shirt and some gold chains. You would still have loads left over for a bunch of Porsche caps, t-shirts,etc...because it seems that image is important to you. Not a flame, just an observation.

That was a flame...
If you read my previous posts, I do not consider it a big deal to own a porsche. I am happy with the honda badge. All I was saying is since we are the underdog badge when compared to Porcshe and BMW, our car really needs to whoop azz to make a name for it's self.
For those individuals that can spend $50,000 on a car and are just worried about performance, both the boxter S and the S2000 have equal performance, except for the fact that the boxter has way more torque, has a plusher interior, and is a Porsche, which does count for something. I mean come on, would you have bought a Daewoo S2000? I think not.

SS's are pretty fast...I usually can only beat them by a few cars....that is of course when they are running 100shot....the stock ones don't stand a chance
