However, once the launch was over, even though he had the launch and the jump, the gears just went to work for me. I had passed him by the 1000' mark according to the timeslip, and obviously ended up winning the run.
So it's a win because I won, but a loss because that was a horrible run for me personally. In fact, I think it's one of the worse runs I've ever had with my car since I got the gears. And yes I do believe that was my first time with the gears on the track.
