Alright..i usually don't post in this forum but I couldn't
resist...

So I'm taking in spin in the S testing out my new Vortech SC that was freshly installed 2 days ago at Evolution. The car feels strong and I am itching for an opportunity to let her rip and see what this thing can do...

Well wouldn't you know it..a white IROC-Z comes along and
sits right next to me.. I take a gander...it's clientele features
two shady's smoking marlboro reds...jamming out to what it appeared to be Aerosmith...

At this point we are both cruising at 45...im sitting in 4th with a
sh&t eating grin on my face waiting to hand these fellas a can of whoop a$$...

he revs..pause...he revs again....i glance over and these two donkeys are snickering like two 10 year olds peeking
at their father's Playboy mag..I shake my head (along with my grin) as if to say (silently) .."you chose the wrong MF'er to deal with"..

a few seconds go by and I hear him punch it...so I punch it as well. He gets a small jump..then SC kicks in and I pull away from him hard..in a matter of seconds im on to 5th gear and moving steady at a bill and some change (110?)...

The mullet brothers are at least 4 car lengths behind so I shutdown and patiently wait for their arrival...

...they draw near...big shocker...I get a loser fly by...

So you punch it in 4th at 45 mph? And smoke these guys that much? You should have dropped to 2nd

Good way to win and not waste a lot of gas on such a slow car. Nice way to see just what kind of power you are making.

yea congrats on killin a pig of a car, those irocs need a decent amount of work for them to go anywhere. chances are u raced a 305ci version which in its best year made 220hp in perfect runnin condition. Even if u ran into a 350ci one, they only put out 245 in its best year. with that blower u should pick on cars more in ur league, but i can understand you being antsy and wanting to totally trash a slower car.

 

If you read the post you would notice that the iroc mullets instigated the race. He was just excited to try out the new gear.

I spanked an Iroc in my old 92 civic hatch with a B16 on the ohio turnpike once. The look on their faces was priceless.
