The LS1s and Stangs sound different due to some things:
Aluminum Block vs Cast Iron
Y-pipe vs True Dual
Firing Order
Larger Displacement (281c.i.d. vs 346c.i.d.)
and 40hp for a catback?? nah...the most ive seen was like 20RWHP gain.
