Default s2k vs wrx vs evo

coming back from oakridge mall last night i believe it was hwy 680 going southbound to 101... as i was getting on to the onramp i noticed upfront was a silver evo he took off pretty quick once the light hit green as for me i just sat back and cruised since there were cars inbetween us, then i weeved in an out and was behind him by the end of the ramp. now i know if it was a stand still id have no chance since hes awd and would get the jump on me, but since we were all ready moving i figured id give it a shot, then when we got on the highway a wrx also silver was on the lane over so the lancer and wrx quickly down shifted and tried takign off i was on their A** the whole time and then i saw an open in the next lane and took it and slowly passed both of them. i had a passenger and the top down as well. We were going about 120+ connecting to the 101 onramp i guess he gave up before the turn cause he was no where near me during the turn to 101 then i slowed down for merging traffic then he passed me we got off tully i went west he went east, i flashed him for a nice run and he turned on his hazard to say good bye

i hope you're not NA or I find this hard to believe...even from a stock Evo perspective. Esp in the Bay unless the Evo and WRX were new, you'll find very few stockers...

Don't get me wrong, sounds like a good run...but the passing part sounds slightly skeptical.

I find it very probably that he passed the EVO and the WRX. ESPECIALLY if they were stock. I stayed dead even with one from a 70mph roll, I know he had atleast an exhaust... I may have even been inching past him.

Before you shoot your mouth, get some facts straight. EVO from roll is fully s2000 territory. We'll even take em(stock for stock). I won't comment on the WRX since it was the underdog. If you don't believe me, find me any stock EVO in Chicagoland area, bet $500, and I'll race him from a roll.

I fully believe you. I've taken my friends EVO when it was stock ($4k in mods now) about 50 times from a roll.

I took an Evo on the fwy cruising at 70. I had the top down taunting him ... then I hear him Down shift and the turbo spool, then I down shift ... Next thing u know, I see his HID in my Boradway ... As far as visiualz .. He was lowered, rims, and exhaust ... couldnt hear the BOV .. myt be stok. Who knows. But, was a nice run.

I agree. Plus he doesn't know that there are weaker and stronger Evos from factory. I hope he doesn't believe he can beat all stock Evos, roll or not.
