s2k vs. turbo civic vs. z3
I was on my way back to my town from a little meet we were having, traveling down the highway at about 90.
I see this car running up beside me, and I couldn't tell what it was with the freakin lights blinding me, so I slow down to 80 and he pulls up next to me.
It's a freakin 1990 civic with a turbo or BOV simulator.
He was revvin his engine at me and some flames were comin out of his tailpipe, so I downshifted to fourth, right before vtec, and we took off. I was just walking away from him until about 100-110, through the 90's he wasn't fallin behind too much. After 100-110, he just became distant headlights.
So I'm slowing from from about 130 back to cruising speed, and this blue z3 I had passed is coming up on me. So I slow down a little bit, stay in sixth, and start to accelerate, and he looks over at me like "i hate hondas" so i downshift to fourth and take off. I think it was a closer race between me and the civic, the z3 took it up to about 100, so I figure he was in on the race.
Anyway it was a fun night.

sounds good - is there any chance the civic let off since it didnt lose any lengths in the beginning, or did it just have no top end? good kills

he had to shift real quick, so he wasn't at the optimum part of his powerband for a race. He was at a powermaking part of the band, but the shift time probably hurt him, as that was when i started really walking.

Stock Z3's are slow. I beat my friend's Z3 back in the day all the time although not by much in a stock Integra GSR. I wouldn't even waste my time on those cars.
