Z06-Killr ran Frans2k... Z06-Killr ran 13.4 @ 105 1/4 mile

Frans2k was S/C they were dead even from a roll, but the s2 would get ran out of the hole.
He has a real high trap speed for his ET, most people who traps in 105 in their STi are in the high 12s.

Yeah... I tried doing a search, couldn't find that thread! But I remember him quoting those figures exact.

The 02 M coupe has the same M3 engine (S54). It would make sense that it is faster than the M3. However, I have not read up on any races b/w an S54 M Coupe and an S54 M3.
while the engines are the same, the output is not - 333-343 in the M3, 315 in the M coupe. Something to do with the way the exhaust plumbing runs on the M3. Also, M coupe has lots of aero drag, so expect M3 to pull on top.

Nice car, though.

atinana...You on the MR2 Board? Hehe, sorry to get off topic but we used to have a 91 MR2 Turbo, fully built with a GT35R, we were building it to run 9's but too many head gasket issues, like most high hp MR2s have

A GT35R on a MR2?? What was the max boost? And what RPM did it come at? I'd love to use the GT35R on my STi, that thing is a monster.

when does your evo's torque curve start to fall down? just curious? i dynoed my STi and the torque curve starts falling off after 4100rpm and my HP falls after 6k.
evo's torque curve starts falling around 3.7k-3.9k. 240 awhp though (stock), i was pretty impressed.

Yeah, we never got a chance to run it much less boost at all. We built our motor to be able to handle about 600 rwhp at 30 psi, but due to common HG failures, we never got a chance to drive it, much less enjoy it. Our last rebuild failed due to the motor seizing at idle, and we parted it out.

We bought our turbo off Extremeboost.com and he has one on his MR2 himself. We saw him run at LVMS and got it on tape actually. He ran an 11.038 at 125.95 mph. Here's the link to DL the vid:

He actually could have pulled off a better time but he's from Canada and his car was tuned for the cooler weather and was giving him some issues in Vegas. Full boost came on about 4400 rpm with a redline of 7800.

I really miss having the turbo and even though of putting it on hubby's EVO. I can just imagine pulling up to someone with this monster on it and blowing their doors off!!

Full boost by 4400rpm is actually not that bad, considering the size of that turbo and the 2.0L engine. I think I might just settle for a GT30R for mostly street driving, I don't really want to spend the money to build up my STi's engine. And the stock block probably won't last long with a GT35R. I remember a built EVO with GT35R ran low 10s, not sure.
