just that it cant go toe to toe w/ the others. (which again imo are sports cars)
I hope you're not implying that a 'prepped' 03 Cobra can't keep up with a 'prepped' S2000 on a track... are you? Yes the S2000 is a better handling car than a Mustang/Cobra but the new Cobras are formidable as far as handling and monsters on the power side of things.

Doesn't matter. Mustangs aren't sports cars. Never have been. Aren't supposed to be

Just you wait for the NEXT cobra..

Honestly I think a stock 03 Cobra would beat a S2000 around the track. It would destroy it in the strait aways, and it can handle really good. Not as good as the S2000 but good enough to keep up enough so it can rip it up in the straits.

The S2000 probably does not have enough power to keep up with a 03 Cobra on a road course, given the same driver experience level. All the Cobras from 99 up have IRS, so they are much better handlers than their Muscle Car little brothers.

I respect 99(or is it 00) and up Cobra owners as they looked at the whole package (at least performance wise).

And of course the Cobra R....

Bullitts DO NOT have 3.55's stock, they come with 3.27's like every other 99 up Mustang besides the Cobra R and the 03 Cobra. They do have the different TB,intake, pulleys, subframe connectors, Tokico's, different springs, exhaust, same brakes as Cobra, etc. They are basically even to a GT as far as time. They are heavier do to the bigger brakes, subframe connectors, an intake. Not alot, but still heavier. It's a drivers race, the S2000 and the Bullitt are too close to say. From roll, you have to pay closer attention with the S2000 than the Mustang as far as gear selection. No real clear winner, all in the driver. Why people argue about this is beyond me.

The new cobra has higher skidpad numbers than a Corvette. Not the Z06, but its somewhere around .95. Also slalom is in the mid-high 60's. Its a track car as well as a good drag car IMHO.
